CBYRA: Grant Recipients Panel
Meet three of the Chesapeake Bay sailors who have applied for, received and benefited from grants through the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Racing Association. CBYRA’s Funds for Chesapeake Sailors and the Bob & Peggy Seidel Foundation are helping a wide range of sailors in their national and international campaigns in a wide range of boats and disciplines. NYYC Women’s 2v2 Team Race: CBYRA
The Chesapeake Bay Yacht Racing Association funded Team CBYRA to compete at the New York Yacht Club Women’s 2v2 Team Race in Newport, Rhode Island this year. Extreme sailing conditions ensued and very surprise ending was in store for 4 of the teams!

2022 Star North American Championship – Hosted by Annapolis Yacht Club
Thursday June 16th. The breeze was on after a lay day on Wednesday with three races completed. Video made possible by CBYRA Chesapeake Bay Yacht Racing Association.
2021 US Snipe Nationals
Getting in two races, the large international fleet of Snipe sailors kicked off the 2021 US Snipe nationals with a bang! The Severn Sailing Association in Annapolis, MD as the host. CBYRA, the presenting sponsor of the same-day video highlight coverage.
National Women’s Invitational for the Thayer Trophy
Sailors from all over the Annapolis and Baltimore area got into team racing thanks to the support of the Downtown Sailing Center, the Severn Sailing Association, The Eastport Yacht Club and the Annapolis Yacht Club. From a vast pool of local talent, 12 women went onto represent the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Racing Association at this inaugural event hosted by the Corinthian Yacht Club in Marblehead, Mass.
