The Wagner family is sad to share that on March 29th, Mike Wagner set sail for eternity. He passed in the comfort of his home with his wife, Stephanie, and his daughter, Rachel, beside him.
Sailing, and introducing young people to the sport, was Mike’s truest passion. You can read more about his life here.
Stephanie and Rachel invite all of Mike’s friends and supporters to join us for a celebration of his life on April 30th, 2023, at the North East River Yacht Club. There will be a visitation with the family at 2:00pm, and a formal celebration at 3:00pm. The family asks that Mike’s many supporters join us in making this is a true celebration of his life by wearing clothing that reflects his vibrant energy and zeal. As Mike’s favorite color, and the color of his beloved Solaris, was red, Rachel and Stephanie suggest finding a way to incorporate that into your attire on the 30th.
We also invite you to join us over Zoom (details below). At 2:00pm, there will be a slideshow reflecting on Mike’s life, and at 3:00pm, a stream of the celebration itself.
